Hebburn Churches Together is an ecumenical group that seeks to promote unity between all churches in Hebburn. It is part of South Tyneside Churches Together, although it acts semi-independently of it.

Representatives of all churches meet regularly to discuss and plan ways to promote greater unity through joint working, joint worship, events and mission.
Churches represented are:
St. Aloysius RC church
St. James RC church
St. Johns C of E church
St. Cuthbert’s C of E church
St. Oswald’s C of E church
St. Luke’s Methodist Church
Hebburn Independent Methodist church.

Everyone is welcome — just bring yourself!

We have recently completed a series of workshops to consider what Christ meant by ‘being one’ and ‘being in complete unity’. A report has been produced which lists a number of recommendations which will enable us to work toward greater unity, particularly unity of spirit. The report is attached.
